Beasts: Solo

BEASTS are back, but the trio have split up! They come together to perform their solo shows in one space, with one audience, in one hour. Alas, there appears to be no time to waste, as each of the actors continually finds their show sabotaged by the others. This sketch group is witty and wacky, using their way with words to battle it out on stage. One has a (deeply dark) magic show. One wants to tell (and embody) the life story of Nelson Mandela. One just wants to get naked (sorry, do burlesque). Who will win the glorious right to perform?

With clever twists and turns, an improvisation section, various cameos, props and lots of arse-slapping, BEASTS: Solo will not disappoint. This show is riddled with ridiculous fun and has a through-line, so often lacking in sketch shows. Adults and older kids alike will enjoy the fruits of their funny labour.

BEASTS: Solo

Pleasance Courtyard @ 16:45 (1 hour)

August 4th – 25th (not 16th)

★★★★
